Shrashtant Patara is Vice President of the Development Alternatives Group. He has been working in sustainable building materials and technology development, micro-enterprise development, rural market development and management of large donor funded and Government programmes. These include the dissemination of Micro Concrete Roofing Technology in India, capacity building for the promotion of Vertical Shaft Brick Kiln Technology, development of housing and clean-energy delivery models for rural households, along with the coordination of several post-disaster reconstruction projects. Presently, he is the Chief Executive of TARA Livelihood Academy and the CEO of TARA Society.
